Obituary for Donald E Riegel Donald E. Riegel, 82, from the Hack Funeral Home in Beecher obituary.  Don was born on September 19th, 1943. He passed away peacefully in the hospital on April 21, 2026. He had one daughter Kim Rasmussen (Riegel) (fiancé Scott Brody) and one grandson Jacob Rasmussen. His brother is Orlin Riegel and sister Phyllis Long (Riegel), brother in-law Dave Long.

He was preceded in death by his mother Norma Riegel, his father Edwin Riegel, his sister Marilyn Tatro and his beloved wife Gale Riegel (Seitz).

Don loved his garden. He loved mowing his yard and planting flowers. Even when unable to take care of a garden, he wanted his family to plant one so he could watch it grow.

He also treasured his 57 Chevy Bel Air. He loved watching the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and golf. Don loved his polka music and cheeseburger nights.

He retired from Bimba Manufacturing after 30 years.

He was also dedicated to St Luke United Church of Christ. He was a trustee for several things as well as took care of all of the flowers along the church grounds until he wasn’t able anymore.

He will be missed dearly. May he rest in peace.
