Ron Baker died just 4 days shy of his 80th birthday. Ron loved the golf course; any golf course. His family was what made Crete, Crete. His grandmother Mary Baker was a warm and kind person known to the community, his dad Ralph was one of Crete's talented builders, his mother Adeline was active in city affairs well past her 90th year, notably in Crete Park matters. Ron is survived by two sons and his wife Donna.
There will be a memorial service gathering in Ron's memory at the Memorial Center, Skyline Memorial Park on Sunday, January 16 from 1 to 4 pm. All who knew Ron and his family are invited.
